About This Project

Vincent

Vincent is an 11-year-old sixth grader who was identified with hearing loss in the third grade. He was wearing loaner aids that he would have to borrow from his school each day. His parents were deeply appreciative of the help that HearAid Foundation was able to provide, saying:

“I would like to thank the people at the Hear Aid Foundation for the changes in Vicente’s life and in the rest of my family, too. I remember the first day when I received the application, I wasn’t sure to send it or not because we were rejected by other foundations. When I received your call that Vicente had been approved, you where polite, respectful, and willing to help my child. My wife and I were so excited, we cried tears of joy to see that our son was going to get his hearing aids. Without your help, my son would still be unable to hear well. Now that Vicente has hearing aids, he won’t need to return the hearing aids he borrowed from the school every day or have to struggle at home with his hearing loss. From the bottom of my heart, I really want to thank all the people that helped make this dream possible.”
