About This Project

Natalie

Natalie was a high school senior who was using loaner hearing aids from her high school, which she would have to return at the end of the school day. She lives with her father and is the love of his life. High school was not easy on Natalie, with the struggles of having a hearing loss and emotional struggles associated with it.

Natalie’s father is a strong advocate for her, and applied on her behalf to HearAid Foundation with the hopes of giving her every chance of success after graduating high school. We are happy to say that we got to help him make his hope a reality. Dr. Cheryl Tanita fitted Natalie with her very own state-of-the-art pair of hearing aids, just in time for graduation. She is an avid reader and likes to write poetry and she wrote HearAid a lovely poem of thanks. We can’t wait to see how the new sounds in her world will inspire Natalie!
